Burlap utensil holder

Hello there, nice to have you visiting us ! Today I'm sharing my burlap utensil holder tutorial. I did this project a while back-Easter last year. I am just now getting around to posting it. Sad-I know.

I had some left over burlap from Christmas and decided to put it to use. I first measured how long each utensil holder needed to be by laying my silverware out on it. Then I measured double that length, so I can fold it over for a pocket. I glued the sides inward before glueing everything together for a nice edge. I used fabri-tac, but you could have also sewn it together. When you fold over the pocket make sure you leave enough room for your silver ware to show. I placed some lace on the front, for a vintage touch.

You can decorate them with anything you want, according to season or holiday. I love to use burlap, it is so versatile. Do you use burlap in your craft projects? Make sure you stop by tomorrow for a fun blog hop! Linking up here.
Cheers,
