Happy Friday my friends! It is time for another edition of Florida Beaches. We visited St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach. We loved it-the beaches were clean and the sand was like powder. They had facilities there and a snack shop. Look at the color of that water. Unfortunately the tide was coming in, so not a lot of shells and we couldn't really go out to the sandbar. The ocean was rough that day, but we managed to go in the water anyways.
Lot's of seabirds of course. They are always looking for a bite to eat.
The St. Andrews Park Pier. After the pier the highrises start and this is where all the tourists hang out.
Crystal clear waters-never seen anything like it anywhere else. This is where my turquoise color obsession started-see here.
Great sand dunes. They are a protected area.
You can see here the Gulf was rough that day. To read about our trip to Shell Island visit here. Linking up here. Have a great weekend (hopefully at the beach).
I've never been there. Looks gorgeous and peaceful too.

Have a great day.
Beautiful! I especially love the first photo. It beckons me out to the water ;-)
ReplyDeletethat has to be the whitest sand I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos from the beach, it looks very lovely there :)
ReplyDeleteI can see why you fell in love with these beautiful waters, just GORGEOUS! I just love getting a peek at your coast, ours is beautiful too here in Cali but we do not have the turquoise as much. hope you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow nice it would be strolling along either of these beaches, barefoot on the warm sand.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours in these scenes. I can imagine walking the beach with the cool sand between my toes, gazing out to the horizon. Sigh. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a gorgeous place to visit. I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteLove Panama City and PC Beach. We try to get up there once or twice a year for their Thunder Beach bike fest. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteI wish we live close to the beach... next time we go to Florida, we are hitting the beach and not the theme park anymore. Or maybe a day or 2 at the theme park and the rest at the beach. We can't go there without saying "hi" to Mickey and friends.
