My cat Chloe loves the big conch shell I have on my porch table. She always lays by it or trys to play with it.

The 'Inn by the Sea' in Portland, Maine, is a pet and eco friendly resort. Pets are welcomed not only to the suites and cottages, but there is on site dog walking and sitting as well as a dog spa. Pets can be brought to the beach and on wooded trails. There is a spa for people, as well, and a great restaurant.
It looks awesome!
I have run acroos the site 'Seabags' which sells totes made of recycled sail cloth.
Each bag is designed and inspired from the sail itself and all vary in texture and fabric. All are durable, water resistant and washing-machine friendly.
Most of the bags (like most sails) are white or off white dacron with a colored design on them but all sails from canvas to Kevlar are used.
Each Sea Bag has rope handles that are hand-spliced in the shop in Portland, Maine - the splice is a nautical skill and what differentiates a Sea Bag.
Sea Bags totes come in small, medium and large and a variety of designs and colors.
Their site also features a blog. The bags can be used for picnic's, boating, travel and to store items in.

We also went on a harbor cruise and enjoyed it. We saw dolphins! On the last day at the cottage we also saw dolphins in the water in front of our house. The fishing boats and shrimpers were out again, too. When we got there Hurricane Danielle had just passed through and then Hurricane Earl came through, so the waves were high and the sea was rough. We found a lot of shells and conch shells and on the last day we got the most big shells.
We bought fresh shrimp and had surf and turf-better than in any restaurant!
St. Augustine is a great place to visit. Have you been there?
